Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Application Engineer, based in Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility to work from home on occasion. Frequent traveling to visit clients in South East Asia, sometimes required to visit suppliers in Europe and China. The role involves providing technical support to customers, analyzing client needs to recommend suitable engineering solutions, and assisting the sales team in pre-sales and post-sales processes. Additional responsibilities include preparing proposals, product demonstrations, and managing client accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Sales Engineering and Sales processes, with a strong focus on customer engagement
• Solid background in Technical Support and problem-solving capabilities
• Fundamental knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote work requirements
• A degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred
• Previous experience with technical products and solutions is a plus
• Ability to speak and read mandarin is a BIG plus.
