Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Product Engineer role based in Kuala Lumpur.

As part of the Delta Mobrey Malaysia Engineering team, the Product Engineer will provide technical and engineering support for Delta Mobrey's global operations. The role involves supporting product configuration, maintaining engineering data and product structures within business systems, developing product enhancements, and delivering engineering solutions to meet customer and business requirements. The Product Engineer will collaborate closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to ensure product information, documentation, and system configurations remain accurate and effective throughout the product lifecycle.

Training will be provided to support successful development within the role.

Key Responsibilities

• On-time delivery of support services to the organisation.
• Resolving Engineering issues on the MRP system.
• Ensuring Engineering’s data and information are up to date.
• Drawing production for machining, assembly, and outline.

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

• Technical competence in Mechanical Engineering demonstrated through qualifications, relevant experience, or a combination of both.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Proactive, methodical, and logical approach to problem-solving.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Understanding of engineering control processes, including engineering change management and document control.
• Experience in product configuration, product engineering, or engineering data management.
• Experience coordinating or leading a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience using 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Familiarity with Creo Elements, Creo Parametric, Model Manager, or similar engineering design and document management systems.
• Understanding of international engineering standards, directives, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of engineering tolerances, limits and fits, and manufacturing principles.
• Experience working within regulated industries.
• Experience collaborating with global or remote teams.
• Familiarity with ERP, MRP, or Product Data Management (PDM) systems.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate is likely to:

• Have 2 years of experience in Product Engineering, Configuration Engineering, Design Engineering, Product Data Management, or a similar engineering function.
• Be comfortable with a varied role where there is a need to get involved with other Engineering-related roles rather than specialise in any one part of it.
