Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller Consultant with strong Insurance domain expertise to support data warehouse initiatives, data modelling, data mapping, and business analysis activities. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, project stakeholders, and technical teams to define, analyze, and deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data mapping and data modelling activities for enterprise data warehouse projects.
• Gather, analyze, and validate business and user requirements.
• Prepare detailed Data Mapping Specifications, including data flows, table relationships, keys, and transformation rules.
• Conduct requirement walkthroughs with business and application teams.
• Ensure completeness, consistency, and traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work with stakeholders to define and obtain approval for high-level solution designs.
• Review test plans and test scripts to ensure coverage of business requirements.
• Manage requirement changes through established change control processes.
• Prepare SDLC documentation and ensure compliance with project governance standards.
• Monitor project deliverables and support timely project completion.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and Data Modelling.
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within the Insurance industry.
• Strong experience in Data Mapping and Source-to-Target Mapping.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL.
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Good understanding of Data Quality and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Training or certification in Business Analysis and/or Data Modelling.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and analytical skills.

Domain Requirement

• Insurance industry experience (Life Insurance, General Insurance, or Takaful).

Pay: RM4,949.23 - RM15,600.29 per month
