JOB OVERVIEW
Senior Executive/ Executive – Sales & Marketing drives sales growth by managing key accounts and identifying new business opportunities. He develops strategies, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong client relationships, all while staying informed about market trends and competition to ensure a competitive edge.
In addition to client management, they work closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met. Often taking on a leadership role, they mentor junior sales staff and help ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets through effective communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Key Authorities
- Approve or recommend pricing, discounts, and sales deals in alignment with company objectives
- Set and manage individual and team sales targets
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets
- Manage relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the sales team to improve performance and morale
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts
- Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth initiatives
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior for decision-making
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategic responses
- Prepare sales forecasts and set realistic sales targets
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., procurement, operations) for smooth project execution
- Ensure excellent post-sales support and customer service delivery
- Establish and maintain clear communication with key accounts
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments for large or strategic projects
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements in sales activities
- Maintain workplace safety and health standards in all sales and marketing activities
- Protect confidential information, customer data, and company intellectual property
- Follow company-approved sales processes, CRM usage, and documentation standards
- Support implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS)
Experience Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in sales or marketing
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Experience in mentoring or leading a team
- Exposure to fast-paced, target-driven environments
6. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- MBA or equivalent is an added advantage
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Strong business acumen and communication skills
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
