Responsibilities:

1. Lead project execution, determine key milestones, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

2. Manage the supply, design, delivery, installation, and commissioning of projects.

3. Implement and enforce MRO standards across projects, ensuring compliance with industry and organizational guidelines.

4. Prepare and present project plans, change requests, and project lists, ensuring proper documentation for client approval and internal use.

5. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including owners, designers, and contractors, to ensure successful project completion.

6. Work with business leadership and cross-functional teams to develop project contracting strategies and deliverables
7. Lead or participate in lean events such as 3P, Kaizen, and Rate Readiness to improve project efficiency.

8. Use judgment and technical expertise for data analysis and decision-making.

Authorities :

1. Authorised to plan and manage project schedules, key milestones, work plans and resource coordination to meet approved project objectives.

2. Responsible for reviewing and endorsing project execution plans, method statements, and installation/commissioning plans prior to submission to the Head of Engineering and/or client.

3. Authorised to coordinate and issue internal task assignments to cross-functional teams to support project delivery, within the approved project plan.

4. Authorised to review and validate project documentation for client submissions prior to internal approval.

5. Authorised to raise and manage project change requests/variations, including preparing supporting justifications, impact assessments (time/cost/scope), and obtaining approvals from the Head of Engineering before committing externally.

6. Responsible for monitoring project cost tracking, progress claims, and budget utilisation, and authorised to escalate any cost or schedule risks to the Head of Engineering with mitigation recommendations.

7. Authorised to coordinate subcontractors and vendors for site works and deliveries, and to verify work progress and deliverables against approved scope and quality requirements.

8. Authorised to stop or suspend site activities if there is an immediate safety, quality, or compliance risk, and to initiate containment and corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.

9. Responsible for approving project-level reporting (weekly/monthly status, risk registers, action logs) prior to submission to the Head of Engineering.

10. Not authorised to approve contract terms, final selling prices, major procurement commitments, or client contractual variations; all final commercial approvals remain with the Head of Engineering/Managing Director.

Pay: From RM7,000.00 per month
