Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join a technology-driven team supporting enterprise software applications and digital solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing activities, defect management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for QA professionals who enjoy working in Agile environments and have experience across manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
• Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality and quality
• Identify, document, track, and manage software defects through resolution
• Conduct regression, integration, performance, load, and security testing activities
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and reproduce issues
• Participate in Agile development processes and support continuous quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or a related field
• Experience in manual and/or automation testing
• Familiarity with Jira and Zephyr or similar defect management tools
• Strong understanding of regression testing, integration testing, and defect lifecycle management
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience with CI/CD environments and modern software delivery practices

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
