Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. System & Application Management

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain RAC core systems (e.g., financial systems, asset systems, web/mobile platforms).
  • Coordinate system enhancements, upgrades, and integration with internal and external platforms.

2. ICT Infrastructure & Operations

  • Support administration of servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user devices.
  • Monitor system health (servers, applications, storage, and network connectivity).

3. IT Security & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with ICT security policies, standards, and relevant government regulations.
  • Implement and monitor antivirus, access control, and security configurations.

4. Data Management & Backup

  • Monitor data integrity, availability, and recovery processes.

5. Project Implementation & Coordination

  • Assist in ICT project execution, including planning, monitoring progress, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal users, management, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Support preparation of technical documentation, proposals, and system requirement specifications.

6. Vendor & Service Management

  • Liaise with ICT vendors for system development, maintenance, and support services.
  • Monitor vendor performance, deliverables, and SLA compliance.

7. Helpdesk & User Support

  • Provide technical support to RAC staff (hardware, software, systems, email, etc.).

8. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain ICT documentation including SOPs, technical manuals, and reports.
  • Record system issues, resolutions, and change requests.
  • Prepare documentations for management, JKSH and JPICT meetings.

9. Administrative & Other Duties

  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes (system access, equipment allocation).
  • Assist in ICT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit / Management.

Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, and system applications.
  • Basic project management and vendor coordination skills.
  • Understanding of government ICT compliance and security standards.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
