Senior Project Engineer - Rotating Equipment

Role Purpose

As a Senior Project Engineer, you play a critical role in delivering complex projects successfully. You are responsible for leading and coordinating all technical and administrative aspects of project execution. This role ensures that project objectives are achieved efficiently, safely, and within approved budget and schedule constraints. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional coordination are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, planning, and execution of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct and supervise detailed technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to maintain progress and meet key milestones.
• Review and validate technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project engineering teams, promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Support the development and growth of junior project engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of project engineering experience within the oil & gas industry.
• Rich experience in project engineering from engineering, procurement, and construction phases of oil and gas offshore projects
• At least 1 project engineering experience in FPSO projects
• Rich knowledge and experience in rotating equipments such as pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, etc.
• Proven leadership capabilities with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and systems.
• Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
