️ Mechanical Package Engineer – FPSO
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Experience: 5–7 years (FPSO projects)
Role Overview
The Mechanical Package Engineer will be responsible for the design, engineering, and integration of mechanical equipment packages for FPSO projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. offshore engineering excellence and global FPSO operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering activities for mechanical equipment packages (pumps, compressors, turbines, HVAC, etc.) in FPSO projects.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, and vendor documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and integration.
- Support EPCIC execution by resolving technical queries and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct design reviews, FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), and site support during installation and commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to international codes (API, ASME, ISO) and project-specific requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of experience in FPSO or offshore oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of rotating/static equipment packages and integration processes.
- Familiarity with EPCIC project execution and offshore engineering standards.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills in multicultural project environments.
