About Us

Fusion Butter Cake is one of Penang’s most loved butter cake brands, expanding rapidly with outlets across Penang and Selangor. We are currently preparing our central kitchens for Halal certification to strengthen our food manufacturing standards and business growth.

We are seeking a Halal Executive who is passionate, knowledgeable, and ready to help us establish and maintain a fully compliant Halal system for our bakeries and production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the Halal certification process (JAKIM/JAIN) for our production facilities in Penang and Selangor.
• Ensure all operations, ingredients, and documentation comply with MS1500:2019 Halal standards.
• Liaise with external authorities, consultants, and internal teams during audits and inspections.
• Develop and maintain the Halal Assurance System (HAS), including training, record keeping, and periodic reviews.
• Advise management on factory layout, workflow, and renovations to ensure Halal compliance.
• Conduct internal Halal audits and continuous monitoring of suppliers, storage, and production lines.
• Organize staff training on Halal awareness and hygiene practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Halal Management, or related field.
• Preferably certified Halal Executive / Halal Internal Auditor (JAKIM or recognized institution).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in food manufacturing or bakery production.
• Familiar with MS1500:2019 and Halal Assurance System (HAS) documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills between HQ, production, and authorities.
• Able to travel between Penang and Selangor when required.
