The People Partner is a key member of Hegen's People & Workplace Experience (PWE) team, responsible for driving people initiatives that strengthen organisational culture, workforce effectiveness and employee experience.
Working closely with the department head, this role partners with employees, people managers and business leaders across the organisation to deliver practical, data-driven people solutions that support organisational priorities and business growth.
The role spans people partnering, workforce analytics, talent development, employee engagement and continuous improvement, and is well suited for a HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic and evolving environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
People Partnering & Organisational Effectiveness
- Partner with employees, people managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver people solutions that support organisational objectives
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development and employee engagement matters
- Drive employee listening initiatives, including engagement surveys, focus groups and workforce feedback channels
- Analyse employee insights and develop recommendations that strengthen organisational effectiveness, employee experience and retention
- Partner with stakeholders to implement people initiatives aligned with organisational priorities and business needs
- Foster strong relationships across the organisation and champion a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture
People Operations & Employee Experience
- Manage and continuously enhance people processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee movements and performance cycles
- Oversee the administration, optimisation and adoption of HR systems, tools and platforms to support an effective employee experience
- Support payroll, benefits administration and employee programmes in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain the integrity, governance and accuracy of employee records, HR documentation and people data
- Review and enhance people policies, procedures and workflows to improve operational effectiveness, compliance and scalability
- Support internal audits, reporting requirements and compliance-related activities
- Drive employee communications and initiatives that strengthen awareness, engagement and organisational alignment
- Identify opportunities for automation, simplification and continuous improvement across people processes
People Analytics, Compensation & Workforce Planning
- Leverage workforce data and people insights to support informed decision-making and business planning
- Develop workforce dashboards, management reports and people insights that support organisational priorities
- Analyse workforce trends relating to headcount, turnover, engagement, absenteeism, recruitment effectiveness and talent movement
- Support compensation and benefits reviews, benchmarking exercises and programme enhancements
- Utilise workforce analytics and employee insights to evaluate the effectiveness of people programmes and inform future talent strategies
- Provide actionable recommendations that strengthen talent strategies, workforce effectiveness and employee experience
- Support workforce planning, organisational design and talent management initiatives
Talent Development, Culture & Community
- Drive learning and development initiatives that strengthen organisational and leadership capability
- Identify capability gaps and learning opportunities across the organisation
- Establish and manage partnerships with external training providers, facilitators and learning partners
- Drive internship programmes, workforce development initiatives and relevant government grant opportunities
- Champion Hegen's employee experience pillars, including HegenCares, HegenCelebrates and HegenVitality
- Serve as an ambassador for Hegen's culture and values, fostering engagement, wellbeing and belonging across the organisation
- Support community partnerships, employee volunteering initiatives and programmes that strengthen organisational culture
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Experience, Talent Development, Organisational Development or related disciplines
- Demonstrated experience in people partnering, employee engagement, organisational development or HR operations
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret workforce data and translate insights into meaningful actions
- Experience supporting compensation and benefits administration, benchmarking and workforce reporting
- Familiarity with internship programmes, workforce development initiatives and relevant government grants
- Experience driving projects, programmes and initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, resourceful and solutions-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving SME environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms; experience with people analytics and reporting tools will be advantageous
