Job Scope

• Competent to operate coiled tubing unit.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal rules and regulations.
• Read and understand operating manual of the read unit.
• Review and understand job proposal and running schedule to determine the operations or procedures requirement.
• Must be fully trained in operating all associated pressure control equipment (PCE), Fluid Pump, Nitrogen and auxiliary equipment.
• Conducts the pre-job and post-job inspections and testing of the coiled tubing units by completing pre and post job inspection forms.
• Knowledge of coiled tubing unit operations, including but not limited to correctly connecting hydraulic hoses, equipment start up, engaging of prime mover and hydraulic pumps. A demonstrated knowledge of the function and location of all coil tubing unit operating controls.
• Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor.
• Monitor gauges and inspect equipment to ensure the equipment is perform well and reporting abnormalities as necessary.
• Record operating data such as products, depth, speed, quantities pumped, rate, pressures and etc.
• Monitor the coiled tubing units’ preventive maintenance schedule and perform the maintenance according to procedures.
• Record all the maintenance on the coiled tubing units and submit to team leader.
• Ensure the coiled tubing units is always in good working conditions for job.
• Ensure all the coiled tubing units spare parts is available keep the team leader updated.
• Attend all the training required by the company and clients.
• Provide training and guidance to junior employees in order to improved their knowledge in operating the equipment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum with 5 years’ experience as Coiled Tubing Operator for operation from floating workboat and fixed platform.

• Has experience in specialize Coiled tubing Operations such as Sand Cleanout, Cementing Operation, Catenary Coiled Tubing Operation, perforation, fishing, milling, logging and stimulation. • IWCF level 4 certification is added advantage

• Computer literature at least Microsoft office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Must have the ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
