The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic customer relationships within the midstream business. The role focuses on revenue growth, account retention, commercial/profitability optimization, and long-term partnership development.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while acting as the main point of contact and understanding customer business needs.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, executing account strategies, managing pricing, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth service delivery and resolve any customer or operational issues.
- Monitor industry trends and provide insights on customer demand, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to align commercial and operational priorities.
- Deliver on performance targets by managing forecasts, tracking account results, and reporting risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Economics, Marketing, Civil/Structure Engineer, or related field.
- Min 5 years of experience with proven record in B2B business environment industry – construction or heavy industry.
- Expreince in key account management, commercial, or sales growth.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry.
