Human Resource Manager | Malaysia

About the Company Our client is a global consulting services firm operating across Southeast Asia and beyond — supporting businesses with strategic advisory, operations, IP, licensing and end-to-end business solutions.

The Role: We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager to join the team on-site in Malaysia. This is a permanent, full-time position suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations and people processes
• Design and improve HR workflows and standard operating procedures
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention initiatives
• Manage performance review cycles and employee development programs
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies

Requirements

• 3–5 years of HRM experience, ideally within a consulting or professional services firm
• Bilingual: Vietnamese & English at professional working level
• Based in or willing to relocate to Malaysia
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Prior experience collaborating with legal counsel or in-house legal teams
• Exposure to multi-country HR operations or cross-border workforce management
• Familiarity with HR systems and digital process tools
• Currently based in Malaysia
