Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on customer aircraft in complying with Policies & Procedures and Aviation Authorities Rules and Regulations.
- Perform inspection, make adjustment and repair, replace components, and correct any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to the aircraft.
- Access and re-install aircraft components, which obstruct the performance of the assigned tasks.
- Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installation.
- Document work performed per quality procedure manual.
- Perform other tasks cleaning aircraft using approved materials, methods, and equipment, and loads and secures ballast and/or freight as required.
- Assist with fueling/ defueling aircraft as required.
- Assist Aircraft Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing of aircraft.
- Assist with repairs on components detached from the aircraft, for example, flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges.
- Work on aircraft as well as in component shops.
- Assist with complex repairs at on-site and off-site locations.
- Assist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification.
Requirements
- Valid CAAS or EASA license (relevant type rating is NOT required) OR CAAM or FAA license holder (Bombardier type rating is required)
- At least 2 years of certifying experience
- Maintenance experience of business aircrafts is an added advantage
