Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audit Associate role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Audit Associate will assist in planning and executing financial audits for clients across different industries under the supervision of senior team members. Daily tasks include performing audit testing procedures, reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation, and identifying potential issues or inconsistencies. The role involves preparing working papers, documenting audit findings, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards. The Audit Associate will also communicate with clients to obtain required information, contribute to audit reports, and support the team in meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Auditing and Financial Audits, with an understanding of audit methodologies and relevant standards.
  • Knowledge of Finance and Financial Statements, including the ability to interpret key financial reports and basic ratios.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills to identify variances, assess risks, and evaluate financial information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable working with accounting or audit software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact professionally with clients.
  • Willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and readiness to work on-site and travel to client locations when required.
