Responsibilities

NextLabs has some of the largest global enterprises as customers and has strategic relationships with industry leaders such as SAP, Siemens, Microsoft, AWS, Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, and IBM.NextLabs is seeking a skilled IT System Admin to design, optimize, and secure our expanding hybrid infrastructure. You’ll join a collaborative team ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with proactive problem-solving to support business-critical systems.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Infrastructure Management

·      Design, deploy, and maintain hybrid systems (Windows/Linux, cloud/on-prem) with a focus on automation, scalability, and security.

·      Administer and optimize Microsoft AD, Azure AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Office 365 Hybrid environments, including migrations and troubleshooting.

·      Manage VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes) in multi-site data centers.

Collaboration & Support

·   Provide Tier 1/2 support for critical incidents, including on-call rotation for 24/7 systems.

·   Document, track and monitor all problem/resolution activity in the helpdesk tracking system to ensure a timely resolution and issue resolved courteously and expeditiously

·   Partner with global teams to align IT solutions with business needs.

·   Ensure that SLA for our 24/7 production and supporting environments is maintained;

·   Document architectures, SOPs, and KBs for IT staff and end-users.

 

Requirements:

 

Technical Skills

·      Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·      3+ years managing Windows & Linux Server, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).

·      Certifications preferred: MCSE/Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, or RHCE.

·      Proficiency in:

·      Networking (TCP/IP, VPN, SD-WAN, firewall policies).

·      Directory Services (AD, LDAP, OIDC)

·      IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.

·      Web servers (IIS, Apache, Nginx) and database admin (SQL Server/MySQL).

 

Soft Skills

·      Strong problem-solving under pressure; ability to balance multiple projects.

·      Customer-centric mindset with clear communication for technical/non-technical audiences.

·      Adaptability to emerging tech (e.g., AI-driven monitoring, MLOps).

 

Nice-to-Have

·      ITIL/ITSM experience (ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk).

·      Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
