Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and manage suppliers in alignment with company strategy.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with preferred suppliers.
- Lead contract negotiations, including Purchase Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop raw materials and solutions based on project requirements.
- Manage RFQ processes and sample arrangements at various project stages.
- Negotiate commercial terms such as pricing, payment terms, MOQs, and lead times.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through CBD analysis and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure supplier performance meets project demands.
- Conduct supplier audits, including onboarding assessments and annual strategic supplier evaluations.
- Work closely with internal Engineering Department and Sales teams to support project development.
- Continuously review the supplier base and collaborate with internal teams to enhance delivery, quality, and service levels.
- Complete any other tasks assigned by superiors on time.
Experience / Skill Required
- Essential skill(s): Knowledge on generic mechanics and mechanics process/technologies.
- Experience in supplier development and cost optimization strategies.
- Degree in Business / Engineering or any related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sourcing experience, engineering background is preferred.
- Ability to explore and adapt to new applications and supply chain solutions.
- Experience in multinational companies is preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or technical sourcing environments.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred for effective communication with stakeholders.
