Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop procurement teams, promoting strong teamwork
- Manage material planning, forecasting, ordering, and inventory levels
- Improve supplier performance (local and international)
- Resolve supply, delivery, and quality issues quickly and effectively
- Work with logistics to ensure timely and cost-efficient material flow
- Track and improve KPIs such as delivery, inventory, and forecast accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement to optimize inventory and material availability
- Support global procurement initiatives and align with company practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain in manufacturing
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (Mandarin is required)
- Strong knowledge of supply chain, planning, and inventory management
- Experience managing suppliers, including China and global networks
- Experience in international or multicultural environments
- Able to work in matrix organizations across countries and time zones
- Strong team leadership and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Good communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Results-driven and able to drive improvements
- Willing to travel between China and Malaysia
