Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled professional to design, develop, and optimize automated rental payment validation. This role combines advanced data analytics with scripting and automation to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across payment workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis and programming.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payment Validation Automation

• Design and implement automated solutions to validate large volumes of payment transactions (i.e. site rental payments)
• Develop scripts and workflows to detect anomalies, discrepancies, and potential errors in paid transactions
• Continuously improve validation logic to enhance accuracy and reduce manual intervention

2. Data Analytics & Insights

• Perform deep-dive analysis on transactional and financial datasets to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
• Build dashboards, reports, and data models to monitor payment accuracy and trends
• Support decision-making with actionable insights derived from complex dataset

3. Scripting & Tool Development

• Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA, or similar) to automate data extraction, transformation and validation processes
• Ensure scripts are scalable, maintainable, and well-documented

Qualifications & Skills

1. Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics and/or automation

2. Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and/or other scripting languages.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience in automation tools (e.g., VBA, RPA platforms) is an advantage

3. Analytical Skills

• Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures

4. Domain Knowledge (Preferred)

• Understanding of payment systems, financial transactions, or reconciliation processes
• Knowledge of financial controls, audit, or compliance standards is a plus

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
