Coordinate new product planning, material, and tooling preparation to meet on-time delivery.
Drive product capability and yield improvement to achieve internal and external targets.
Ensure timely product certification and support smooth HVM handover.
Collaborate with the Technology Development (TD) team on project planning, engineering, and technical activities aligned with the technology roadmap.
Integrate with TD engineering and operations to fulfill NPI build requirements (checklists for NPI, materials, tooling, etc.) to meet qualification milestones.
Monitor daily NPI progress, including IPP/CtF capability improvement, yield enhancement, build movement, troubleshooting, and closed-loop problem solving.
Provide regular stakeholder communication to maintain visibility, recruit timely support, and ensure committed schedules across multiple projects.
Manage customer meetings, requests, and action items with professionalism and accountability.
NPI Engineer is parked under the Technology Development Team.
Bachelor’s degree from a university or higher technical college.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in IC-Substrate, HDI-PCB, Assembly, IC-Packaging, or related industries.
Experience in NPI, project/product management, product engineering, or yield improvement preferred.
Knowledge of project management, data evaluation, and design of experiments.
Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, CP, etc.
Proficiency in statistical data analysis.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Fluent in written and spoken English (Mandarin is an advantage).
Experience working with intercultural teams preferred.
Willingness to travel and stay abroad for assignments.
Open-minded, collaborative, and team-oriented with leadership potential.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Self-starter, able to work independently under pressure and ambiguity.
Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
