About the role

This full-time Site Supervisor role at CHINA construction engineering（S.E.A）Malaysia sdn bhd' in Johor Bahru, Johor is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional to take on a supervisory position and make a significant impact on construction projects. As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the construction site and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating construction activities on site to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards

2. Monitoring the work of construction crews and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations, specifications and timelines

3. Identifying potential issues or risks and implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track

4. Communicating regularly with the project manager, clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns

5. Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping for all construction activities

6. Providing on-the-job training and guidance to construction workers to develop their skills

7. Assisting with the preparation of progress reports, budget updates and other project-related documentation

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role

2. Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment and safety protocols

3. Strong problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with diverse stakeholders

5. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and contracts

6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

7. Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering or a related field
