About the role

We are seeking a skilled Boilerman to join our team at Tastiway Sdn Bhd in Jitra, Kedah. As a Boilerman, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of our industrial boilers, ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing processes. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and maintain industrial boilers, monitoring their performance and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency and safety

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on boiler systems and related equipment

• Monitor and record boiler operating parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and water levels, and take appropriate actions to maintain optimal performance

• Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions in the boiler system, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner

• Comply with all relevant safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment

• Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or problems encountered

• Assist with the training and supervision of junior boiler operators, as required

What we're looking for

• A valid Boiler Operator's Certificate or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining industrial boilers

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of boiler system components, operating principles, and maintenance procedures

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and operating instructions

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly

• Attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols and procedures

• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other members of the manufacturing team
