1) Server Management

• Hands-on server management, including VMware and Hyper-V, with responsibilities such as maintaining production & staging servers, backup servers, file servers, and database servers (Oracle and MS SQL).

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and Hyper-converged (HCI) to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Ensure that server operations environment (vSAN, vCenter, vSphere, ESXi) are consistently monitored for optimal performance and security.

• Maintain production & staging servers, backup servers, and file servers including database servers (Windows Server 2016/2019, Linux, Oracle, and MS SQL).

• Administration of various system and applications related services such as file server, user email account creation, user account maintenance, network shared folder access permission, Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, GPO, etc.

• Manage, maintain, configure, and monitor storage solutions (Synology NAS and Veeam) to ensure adequate capacity and high availability for critical data.

• Ensure that Cloud Platform, Office365, and OKTA are maintaining stability and availability.

• Manage and maintain schedule and perform system backups (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure uninterrupted day-to-day operations including implementation and testing regularly.

• Perform routine server tasks, including backup, recovery, and maintenance, to ensure the regular backup of business data and application systems, guaranteeing recovery and availability.

• Configure, maintain and optimize server clusters (e.g., Hyper-V) and load balancers for efficient distribution of workloads.

• Responsible for system telephony 3CX Infrastructure and Management to maintain stability.

• Analyze critical logs, and investigate and troubleshoot technical issues.

2) Network Management

• Hands-on Firewall equipment, Load Balancer, Core Switch, Floor Switches, IPS, Load balancer, External DNS, Routers, Access Points (AP) and UPS.

• Hands-on endpoint security solution, Email security solution, Data leak protection, Vulnerability Scanning, and security posture assessment (SPA).

• Responsible Wide Area Network (WAN), LAN infrastructure, with single or multiple types of connectivity, eg Lease Line, IPSec/SSL VPN, VPN, etc.

• Perform network maintenance and problem resolution, upgrades, and supporting network-related issues related to corporate applications, internal corporate servers, user desktops, etc.

• Change and configure management of policies, troubleshooting, patching, capacity management, and system upgrades to network infrastructure

• Ensure reliability for all IT infrastructure. Maintain and monitor Network Infrastructure to ensure overall network infrastructure performs optimally.

• Perform monitor Network utilization and future assessment and recommend upgrades/ changes/improvements to address the organization's current and future network and needs.

3) ICT Facility

• Experience with Data Center racking, cabling and connectivity.

• Collaborate with external vendors for sourcing and implementing infrastructure solutions, including hardware, software, and services.

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for timely support and service delivery.

• Continuously evaluate, implement, and integrate new technologies to enhance the IT infrastructure and operational efficiency.

• Asset Management: Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, passwords, and technical support activities.

• Procurement: Assist in the procurement of IT hardware and software based on organizational requirements.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to virtualization, cloud technologies, and system security.

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or professional Degree in IT/ Computer Science / Computer engineering / Information Systems or any IT-related fields.

2. Specialized in IT/Computer - at least 4 years of working experience in Server/Network/System/Database Administrator or equivalent.

3. In-depth knowledge and experience in virtual technologies environments VMware (vSAN, vCenter, vSphere, ESXi) , Hyper-V and NAS/SAN backup solutions.

4. Strong experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) and cloud infrastructure management (Azure, Google Cloud).

5. Experienced in configuration, administration & maintenance of Windows Servers family and Linux Operating system.

6. Experienced with server clusters, load balancers, and overseeing high-availability systems (including production environments).

7. Familiarity with backup and restore technologies such as Veeam software backup and disaster recovery strategies. 

8. Strong understanding of system security practices, including intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and managing, troubleshooting, and configuring firewall equipment including troubleshooting TCP/IP network, Alerting, and  Monitoring.

9. Strong experience with data storage systems, NAS, and data backup operations on multiple File Systems including experience with Cloud Platform, Office365 and OKTA.

10. Possess a high sense of urgency, judgment, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
