We are looking for a sharp and commercially minded Financial Controller to lead our financial management function. Beyond managing the numbers, you will play a strategic role in shaping the company's financial direction — driving capital structure decisions, managing banking relationships, and supporting corporate growth initiatives including M&A and restructuring. This role is suited to a proactive finance leader with SGX-listed company experience who can operate confidently at both operational and boardroom level.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Oversee the full spectrum of financial management including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with SGX listing rules and relevant accounting standards
- Lead and manage corporate restructuring, M&A activities, and due diligence processes
- Drive treasury management — overseeing liquidity, foreign exchange exposure, and investment of funds
- Build and maintain strong banking relationships to secure financing facilities and raise funds as required
- Proactively identify and strategise financial growth opportunities, including new financing structures and capital market options
- Manage the company's capital structure and evaluate financing options to optimise cost of capital
- Partner with senior leadership and the Board on financial strategy, investor relations, and corporate planning
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements across all relevant jurisdictions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performing function
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management
- Prior exposure to an SGX-listed company is required
- Proven experience in corporate restructuring, M&A, and treasury management
- Established banking relationships with the ability to negotiate and raise financing
- Proactive mindset — able to independently source, evaluate, and execute financial growth strategies
- Strong knowledge of capital structure management and financing instruments
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High integrity, commercially astute, and comfortable managing multiple priorities under pressure
