Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Department Specialist role based in Shah Alam. The Quality Department Specialist supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance and quality control processes across engineering, installation, and service projects. Daily activities include reviewing technical documentation, assisting in preparing and maintaining quality procedures, conducting internal quality checks, and supporting quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring project deliverables for adherence to specifications, documenting non-conformities, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and maintaining accurate quality records. The specialist also collaborates with engineering, procurement, and project teams to resolve quality issues, participates in continuous improvement initiatives, and provides clear communication on quality expectations and findings.
Qualifications
- Strong quality-focused capabilities, including Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills, with the ability to apply standards and procedures consistently.
- Experience or training in Quality Auditing, with the ability to support or conduct internal audits and document findings effectively.
- Solid Analytical Skills to review data, identify trends, and support root cause analysis and improvement actions.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with cross-functional teams and preparing clear quality reports and documentation.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and basic understanding of documentation control practices.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project-based environment.
- Experience in electrical, instrumentation, or industrial engineering environments is an advantage; prior exposure to energy-efficient or metering solutions is a plus.
