JDA WMS Hiring! Full Time Automation Engineer (PLC- ePLAN) in Selangor - Ricebowl

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and commission machine electrical panels and control systems from concept to full completion. The role requires strong expertise in PLC programming, electrical panel design, and engineering documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain PLC programs using Beckhoff TwinCAT, including function blocks and IEC 61131-3 methodologies
• Design and build machine electrical panels and control systems using engineering calculations
• Create and manage electrical documentation (schematics, BOM, cable schedules) using ePLAN P8
• Manage engineering documentation across the product lifecycle using PLM tools
• Support daily operations using ERP software for materials, work orders, and inventory
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams throughout project delivery
• Conduct factory and site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Beckhoff TwinCAT PLC programming (function blocks, ST, ladder logic)
• ePLAN P8 – electrical schematics and documentation
• Electrical panel design with engineering calculations
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Basic ERP software operations
• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
