General Manager
The General Manager Hotel will oversee operations, deliver exceptional guest and team member experiences, and meet operational targets and objectives.
What will you be doing
As the General Manager of the hotel, you are responsible for performing the following tasks:
Lead hotel operations, projects, and initiatives in line with brand standards.
Generate profitability by analysing trends, occupancy, rates, and controllable operating expenses.
Oversee and manage Front Office, Housekeeping, and related Food and Beverage services.
Ensure the highest standards of guest service and product quality across operations.
Monitor guest satisfaction, review feedback, and implement corrective actions.
Management and ownership budget, ensuring expenses remain within set targets.
Report effectively to ownership in a managerial capacity.
Recruit, coach, and develop your team, supporting career growth.
Conduct regular communication, pre-shift briefings, and team meetings.
Incorporate guest feedback into continuous service and operational improvements.
Foster strong collaboration across all departments to deliver seamless service.
Sourcing and managing external customers and suppliers.
Ensure team members comply with government, security, fire, and all health and safety legislations and regulations.
Utilise and monitor property management systems.

A Hotel General Manager with The Arc House Brand is always working on behalf of our Guests and collaborating with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
Strong leadership skills, capable of driving & motivating a diverse team.
Self-starter with initiative and entrepreneurial
English & local language fluency preferred
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including revenue management and the ability to manage budgets and profitability.
Guest-focused mindset with luxury service orientation.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication & interpersonal abilities
Strong Knowledge of Hotel systems; preferably Cloudbeds, Xero, PMS, Duetto OTA’S Platforms, systems, etc.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Previous experience as General Manager or Front Office Manager required
Previous experience operating in the Hong Kong environment is favourably looked upon
