Sourcing Officer

Job Description

• Review all data in entire BOM & responsible to source materials / components per MPN, Manufacturer, Description & Drawings
• Prepare quote package & monitor RFQ through process & documenting all concerns, discrepancies & issues
• Manage all supplier in a manner consistent with the highest professional, ethical, moral & legal standards
• To plan, source & develop new potential vendors at the competitive price, quality & lead time
• Managing & coordinate vendor selection and qualification & conducting vendor audit
• Manage vendor performance, consolidate & maintain all suppliers performance & indicators
• Maintain product price list, approved Vendor master list & Contract Agreements
• Embark on cost reduction activities & participate in regular cost saving program
• Coordinate interaction between the section in the Material department & all other department & subsidiary of equipment group.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in Material/Supply Management or SPM with minimum 5 years of experience in Material/Supply Management
• Preferable with Material/Supply Management in a manufacturing environment
• Good negotiation skills
• Able to work in fast paced environment
• It is an advantage if able to read, write and speak Mandarin
