Responsibilities
The Key Account Management is responsible for managing and growing relationships with the company’s most important clients. This role involves understanding client needs, developing strategic plans to deliver value, ensuring satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through effective account management and collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain close relationships with assigned key brands, merchants or sellers on the platform.
· Create high-level strategic account/business plans, identify new growth opportunities, market gaps and translate into actionable initiatives.
· Negotiate deals, collaborate with brands/merchants on SKUs, campaign participation, pricing, product assortment and stock availability.
· Analyse account performance, marketplace data, operational metrics and derive insights to drive improvement for the account and category.
· Coordinate with internal teams such as Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Logistics and Campaign to execute promotional initiatives, and ensure smooth delivery.
· Serve as the main point of contact for the account for both strategic business engagement and operational / issue resolution.
· Prepare periodic reports and present account status, forecasts, campaign outcomes and business reviews to both internal stakeholders and brand/merchant partners.
· Secure exclusive partnerships or special campaign lanes for key accounts (e.g., 9.9, 11.11 campaigns) and ensure participation meets target.
· Monitor and ensure adherence to operational KPIs such as cancellation rates, late shipment rates, inventory/backlog issues, etc. (especially for operations-focused KAM roles).
· To assist in any ad hoc assignments as required by the company, including support for weekend events.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
