Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions for PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd and its subsidiary, McPec Marine & Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd. The role ensures timely financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and supports budgeting, cash flow management, and system implementation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting
  • Handle full set of accounts for PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd and provide backup support for McPec Marine & Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Group policies and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary on statutory matters.
  • Cash Flow & Intercompany Management
  • Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
  • Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and support treasury-related matters.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
  • Support management in financial planning and cost control initiatives.
  • Tax & Compliance
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns.
  • Prepare and review quarterly GST returns.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • System Implementation
  • Lead and undertake SAP implementation for the company.
  • Ensure proper configuration, data migration, and user testing.
  • Provide support and training to end-users during and after implementation.

Key Requirements

  • Experience handling full set of accounts independently.
  • Familiar with SAP system (implementation experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Singapore tax regulations.
  • Meticulous, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

Bachelors in Accountancy or Accounting
