Junior Champs Preschool is an established early childhood education service provider offering child care services for children from 18 months to 6 years old. We believe every child is a champion in their own way and, with opportunity and guidance, will excel and realize their true potential. Our bilingual, thematic curriculum integrates enrichment programmes such as Phonics, Art, Gym, and Multi-Sports across centres located at Hougang Green Shopping Mall, Kovan Heartland Mall, and 18 Tai Seng.

Job Summary

You will implement the centre’s integrated curriculum aligned with termly plans, fostering children’s development through structured learning and care. You will monitor and document developmental progress, engage parents with regular updates, and maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the centre’s integrated curriculum according to termly plans to support children’s holistic development
  • Monitor children’s developmental milestones and learning progress, providing regular, detailed updates and feedback to parents and staff
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including termly reports and portfolios, to track and communicate children’s growth
  • Perform routine care duties to ensure children’s well-being and comfort throughout the day
  • Design and maintain a conducive, engaging learning environment that promotes exploration and development
  • Organize and actively participate in centre events to enhance community engagement and learning experiences
  • Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards consistently to protect children and maintain a secure centre environment
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with parents to build trust and partnership in children’s learning journeys

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) with ECDA accreditation of L2 Teacher

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Demonstrated passion for working with young children and fostering their learning and development
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively as a team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to continuous professional growth and excellence
