What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to meet targets and deadlines
• Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures
• Provide leadership, training, and support to the production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Analyse production data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with other departments, such as planning, maintenance, and quality, to optimise operations
• Assist in the development and implementation of production plans, schedules, and strategies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety procedures
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
• Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
