Position Title: CHARGEMAN A4

Job Summary

We are seeking a certified Chargeman A4 to manage and maintain the electrical systems within our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting electrical systems, and supporting seamless operations across facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
• Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electrical installations, equipment, and systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company policies.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, diagnosing faults, and performing necessary corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors for system upgrades, installations, and repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance activities, electrical installations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
• Train and guide junior team members on electrical systems and safety standards.
• Handle any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Certification:
• Must possess a valid Chargeman A4 Certificate of Competency issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in maintaining and troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Hands-on experience with low-voltage equipment such as switchboards, transformers, and control panels.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting tools.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work on-call for emergencies or outside regular working hours.
• Physically fit to perform duties such as climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in electrical or related fields are a plus.
• Familiarity with high-voltage systems and energy management practices.
• Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
