About the Company

A household name in the retail and hospitality sector is seeking an analytical and forward‑thinking HR leader to spearhead their Compensation & Benefits Operations and drive a major digital workflow transformation.

About the Team

Reporting directly to the Head of Rewards, you will oversee an established team of payroll and C&B operations. You will bridge the gap between traditional rewards governance and modern people analytics, using advanced tech tools to automate legacy workflows and unlock data‑driven insights for senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Leadership: Direct and mentor the team ensuring flawless execution of end‑to‑end payroll, benefits, and salary reviews for both frontline and corporate staff.
  • Strategic Rewards Advisory: Partner with group leadership on job grading evaluation, market benchmarking structures, variable incentive designs, and annual budgeting.
  • Workflow & Tech Transformation: Revolutionize existing HR operations by building automated workflows, eliminating manual bottlenecks, and ensuring data integrity across regional platforms.
  • Advanced People Analytics: Design and deliver sophisticated dashboards tracking headcount costs, turnover trends, and benefits utilization to influence commercial business decisions.
  • Compliance & Governance: Act as the ultimate gatekeeper for statutory compliance regarding MPF, tax reporting (IRD), and labor ordinances across Hong Kong and Macau markets.
Skills & Experience Required
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of progressive experience specializing in C&B and payroll operations within Hong Kong.
  • Strong hands‑on experience writing SQL queries to manipulate data, alongside advanced proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate for building dashboards and automated workflows. Knowledge of VBA is a strong plus.
  • Proven resilience and agility in fast‑paced, high‑volume sectors such as Retail, F&B, FMCG, or Hospitality.
  • Natural capability to coach, upskill, and manage a mid‑sized operational team.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for business partners and external vendors.
