Job Summary
You will manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and safety at NOK ASIA COMPANY PTE. LTD. This role involves hands-on repair, inspections, and collaboration with contractors to support smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate scheduled maintenance programs to ensure timely and effective upkeep of equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing operational efficiency
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to schedule maintenance work and procure necessary spare parts, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to identify potential issues early and maintain accurate maintenance and service reports for operational transparency and decision-making
- Execute hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks to promptly resolve equipment malfunctions and sustain continuous production
- Enforce compliance with safety and operational standards during all maintenance activities to uphold a safe working environment and reduce risk
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engineering or maintenance roles demonstrating practical maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to document and report maintenance activities
- Effective communication skills in English to liaise with internal teams and external contractors
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Technical certification or skillset in Facilities Management or Mechanical Engineering enhancing maintenance expertise
- Demonstrated positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Willingness and capability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks to support operational needs
