Job Summary

You will manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and safety at NOK ASIA COMPANY PTE. LTD. This role involves hands-on repair, inspections, and collaboration with contractors to support smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate scheduled maintenance programs to ensure timely and effective upkeep of equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing operational efficiency
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to schedule maintenance work and procure necessary spare parts, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to identify potential issues early and maintain accurate maintenance and service reports for operational transparency and decision-making
• Execute hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks to promptly resolve equipment malfunctions and sustain continuous production
• Enforce compliance with safety and operational standards during all maintenance activities to uphold a safe working environment and reduce risk

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engineering or maintenance roles demonstrating practical maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to document and report maintenance activities
• Effective communication skills in English to liaise with internal teams and external contractors

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Technical certification or skillset in Facilities Management or Mechanical Engineering enhancing maintenance expertise
• Demonstrated positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Willingness and capability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks to support operational needs
