Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

  • Design electromechanical assemblies, enclosures, structural frames, brackets, and mounting systems using SolidWorks.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
  • Develop cable routing, wire harness, conduit, and connector layouts.
  • Perform tolerance analysis and apply DFM/DFA principles for efficient manufacturing and assembly.

Project Management

  • Manage projects from design through FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
  • Develop project schedules, ECNs, risk registers, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.

Assembly, Integration & Testing

  • Support mechanical assembly and integration of panels, drives, sensors, and control systems.
  • Plan and conduct testing, including fitment, vibration, thermal, and functional validation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical interface issues.
  • Support FAT, SAT, and site commissioning activities.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and review fabrication quality.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and support ISO 9001 audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience, including at least 2 years in electromechanical assembly projects.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of enclosure design, sheet metal fabrication, IP/NEMA ratings, thermal management, and EMC considerations.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and coordinate with E&I teams.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, BOM management, and project tracking.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, FMEA, FTA, and reliability engineering skills.

Preferred Industries: Industrial machinery, power & energy, defense, process plants, or building automation.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,800.00 per month

Work Location: In person
