Job Summary
Join Memphis Marine & Offshore as a Technical Executive to coordinate marine technical operations, manage vessel service schedules, prepare operational documents, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders in a dynamic marine environment.
Responsibilities
- Communicate proactively with ship owners, agents, vendors, suppliers, and port authorities to facilitate marine service operations
- Coordinate daily vessel service schedules and marine operations to ensure timely execution
- Arrange manpower, equipment, transportation, documentation, and service attendance for vessels to support operational readiness
- Prepare and manage quotations, service reports, invoices, delivery notes, and other operational documents accurately
- Generate sales reports including profit margin analysis on a regular basis using data extraction tools (training provided)
- Monitor vessel arrivals, departures, and service timelines to maintain operational efficiency
- Respond to customer inquiries by providing quotations and timely updates on ongoing vessel jobs
- Maintain accurate records of all services and operational activities for compliance and reporting
- Coordinate emergency or urgent vessel service requests, including after-hours, weekends, and public holidays as needed
- Collaborate closely with ship owners, superintendents, technical teams, engineers, vendors, and operations departments to resolve issues and optimize service delivery
- Manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Adapt to flexible working hours and on-call duties based on vessel schedules and operational demands
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Both Freshers and Experience in marine services, shipping, logistics, or port operations is preferred
