Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and responsible Site Coordinator / Assistant Engineer to support the execution of EPC projects. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating site activities, monitoring project progress, managing project documentation, and liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and according to specifications.
Fresh graduates and candidates with NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma qualifications are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Site Coordination
- Coordinate daily site activities and work schedules.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and consultants on project requirements.
- Monitor site progress and report updates to the Project Manager or Project Engineer.
- Attend site meetings and follow up on action items.
Project Support
- Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics.
- Track work progress and maintain project records.
- Support project planning and scheduling activities.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, work permits, and inspection records.
- Assist in submission of project documents, drawings, and reports.
- Ensure proper filing and document control of project-related records.
- Prepare progress updates and meeting minutes.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure work activities comply with project requirements and quality standards.
- Support implementation of workplace safety procedures and site regulations.
- Participate in site inspections and safety briefings.
- Report any safety concerns, non-conformities, or site issues promptly.
Administrative Support
- Assist in manpower coordination and attendance tracking.
- Monitor material usage and inventory records.
- Perform other project-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Education
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience
- Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in EPC, construction, M&E, industrial, infrastructure, or related industries are preferred.
- Relevant internship, technician, or site coordination experience will be an advantage.
Skills
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and construction practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
