ROLE OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods. This role ensures accurate stock management and a safe, organised working environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders or delivery notes
• Store materials in designated locations following FIFO and labelling procedures
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently in line with dispatch schedules
• Assist in loading outbound shipments and verifying delivery documentation
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits
• Support delivery man as cargo hand when required
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the warehouse supervisor promptly
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys, or forklifts (if certified)
• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping standards, and compliance with safety regulations

REQUIREMENTS & WHAT WE OFFER

Requirements

• Minimum O-Level or equivalent qualification

• Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred

• Ability to read and follow work orders and labels

• Physically fit — able to lift up to 25 kg

• Forklift licence is an advantage

• Basic computer or WMS system literacy is a plus

• Good attendance and punctuality record
