Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. 
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. 
  • Candidates with experience in Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment are preferred. 

Skills

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS). 
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 requirements. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to conduct internal audits and customer audit support. 
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools (7 QC Tools, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, 8D). 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. 

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2–3 years working experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, or Manufacturing Environment. 
  • Experience in Semiconductor, Lead Frame, Stamping, or Plating Industry is an added advantage. 
  • Experience in handling ISO/IATF certification audits is preferred.

Responsibilities

 

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining, improving, and ensuring compliance of the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) with applicable standards and customer requirements. The role involves coordinating internal and external audits, driving corrective and preventive actions, monitoring quality performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Maintain and improve Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and customer requirements. 
  • Control and maintain quality system documentation, procedures, work instructions, and records. 
  • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of quality procedures throughout the organization. 
  • Coordinate document revisions and ensure proper document control. 

Internal & External Audit Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal quality system audits. 
  • Prepare annual audit schedules and audit reports. 
  • Coordinate external certification audits, customer audits, and regulatory audits. 
  • Follow up audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions. 

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

  • Lead investigation of quality issues and customer complaints. 
  • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis using quality tools such as: 
    • 5 Why Analysis 
    • Fishbone Diagram 
    • 8D Methodology 
    • FMEA 
  • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. 

Quality Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor quality KPIs and quality objectives. 
  • Analyze quality data and prepare monthly quality reports. 
  • Monitor non-conformance trends and recommend improvement actions. 
  • Support management review activities. 

Customer Quality Support

  • Handle customer quality requirements and quality-related inquiries. 
  • Support customer visits, audits, and quality improvement activities. 
  • Coordinate customer complaint investigations and responses.
