Responsibilities
Do you know Mainframe? Which of the following areas is your specialty? We are hiring contractors with Mainframe skills, so if you have any of the following skills and would like to put it to good use, do not hesitate to call me or simply apply with your update CV and salary expectation.
Key areas of Mainframe skill we are looking for:
MVS Systems Programmer who know Z/OS .
CICS support specialist .
IBM/DB2 on Mainframe .
DFSMS and other storage products .
Job Scheduling and automation – Ops/MVS .
Your MF skill is a much sought after asset. I would like to hear from you if you have the skills and experience outlined above, even if you have retired or planning a return to Hong Kong or considering coming to HK to work from China . And you sure know that you are knocking at the door of a major Global bank.

Key Responsibilities:
1. You will be a member of a large MF support team in HK. You will be dealing with daily operational issues of a major bank, this includes maintenance, planning, evaluation, upgrade, and support of the MF and associated sub-subsystem.
2. Interact with other team members locally and internationally on MF issues in general.
3. Planning for the success of the bank in the foreseeable future.
4. Communicate with vendor on issues and requirements.
5. Manage future requirements and capacity needs, propose and implement solutions.
6. Manage system performance and tuning.
Required Skills:
Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in MF system administration, and storage management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- At least five years of experience in MF support role
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Team player with a proactive mindset.
- Fluent in Cantonese and English. Knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage.
Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in MF system administration, and storage management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
