About the Role

The Production Planner is responsible for planning of production including release/schedule of the work order. This position will have frequent interactions with internal stakeholders such as Customer Program, Production Team, Engineering team, Warehouse team, Logistic team and Finance team.

Responsibilities

• Manage Production Daily/Weekly demand loading execution and delivery fulfilment per customers’ requirement.
• Work with Customer Program to understand customer forecast and requirement to utilize production capacity.
• Work with Customer Program on consignment material delivery schedule from customer to ensure its continuously support to production loading.
• Work with Customer Program to ensure minimum schedule changes to maximise utilization of each department capacity.
• Monitor daily kitting progress and production output performance and highlight potential delinquency to team for immediate resolution.
• Monitor aging Work Order, RMA units, NCM and work with Customer Program / internal team for disposition.
• Support ad-hoc, urgent demand request and provide regular tracking status.
• Drive OTD performance and Cycle time performance.
• Prepare and update weekly reconciliation report for customer consignment.
• Prepare management report in accordance with KPI (if any).
• Monitor on material readiness (CTB) in production and follow up on delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Production Planning (semiconductor preferred)
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Able to work with internal operation team and other functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SAP and MRP is advantageous
• Proactive, self-starter and good team player.
