MYFutureJobs are currently assisting Super Fi (M) Sdn Bhd — the Malaysian manufacturing arm behind JDE Peet's iconic brands — in their search for a driven Reliability Engineer (Utility) based in Johor Bahru.

As a Reliability Engineer (Utility), you will own the Preventive Maintenance strategy for your demarcation area, driving equipment uptime, cost efficiency, and engineering excellence across the plant — all while developing the team around you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute a dynamic Preventive Maintenance plan aligned to plant and business needs
• Develop and implement action plans for breakdowns, including mitigation, corrective, and preventive measures
• Manage and optimize spare parts inventory using a just-in-time replenishment approach
• Champion Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) culture — enforce LOTOTO, PTW, and risk assessment protocols
• Integrate quality requirements (calibrations, inspections, part replacements) into the PM plan
• Drive breakdown elimination, maintenance planning, and MOS (Manufacturing Operating System) roll-out
• Coach and develop team members to close competency gaps through technical standards and hands-on leadership
• Manage maintenance and repair costs, subcontracted work, and technical documentation

Requirements

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline
• 3–5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG strongly preferred)
• Minimum 2 years in a people leadership role with a clear focus on team development
• Hands-on knowledge of TPM methodology

Nice to Have:

• Experience in operational change management (safety, quality, performance)
• Project management background
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial processes
• Lean and/or Six Sigma exposure
