Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Programme Development Manager in the data centre industry to work on high-impact projects and strategic transactions across the data centre ecosystem, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle from origination through execution. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the individual will help identify, evaluate, negotiate, and execute opportunities across both emerging and established markets.

This role will also provide opportunities to contribute to the advancement and implementation of green and energy-efficient solutions within the data centre sector.


Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of greenfield and brownfield data centre projects across global markets

• Contribute to key strategic initiatives, including new market entry, strategic partnerships, decarbonisation, and renewable energy integration

• Identify and develop opportunities to secure and expand power capacity for future data centre developments

• Support the end-to-end investment and deal execution process, including origination, commercial evaluation, financial analysis and modelling, due diligence, negotiations, and transaction execution

• Conduct market intelligence and industry research to stay abreast of developments and opportunities across key markets

• Prepare presentations, investment papers, and briefing materials for senior management, partners, and clients

• Mentor and support junior team members within the team

• Participate in ad-hoc strategic and business initiatives as required


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Corporate Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related discipline

• 7–15 years of relevant experience in business development, investments, power, renewables, or related sectors; prior exposure to data centres or energy infrastructure will be advantageous

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex deals

• Strategic thinker with the ability to approach challenges creatively and identify new opportunities

• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, coupled with solid market research skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint

• Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative team player with a strong learning mindset

• Willingness to travel as required
