Role
We are looking for a Merchant Acquisition Executive who is comfortable speaking with offline business owners, understanding operational pain points and helping merchants adopt new tools to grow their business.
The role involves field outreach, product demos, relationship building, onboarding support and merchant engagement.
You will work closely with the Founder and participate directly in merchant acquisition, onboarding and sales execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
Merchant Acquisition & Sales
- Identify and approach potential merchants across F&B, retail, beauty and service industries
- Conduct product demos and explain Directo's value proposition clearly
- Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers
- Follow up on leads, objections and onboarding conversations
- Support merchant conversion and activation
Market Feedback & Sales Execution
- Gather merchant feedback and operational pain points from the ground
- Help refine sales messaging, demo flows and onboarding approaches
- Share insights from merchant conversations to improve product and sales execution
- Participate in refining sales playbooks and field approaches
Merchant Onboarding & Growth
- Support merchants during onboarding and initial setup
- Assist merchants in understanding product workflows and usage
- Help merchants launch and start operating on the platform successfully
- Maintain strong merchant relationships during the early adoption phase
Field & Ecosystem Engagement
- Participate in offline outreach, networking and ecosystem initiatives
- Build relationships within SME communities and merchant ecosystems
- Represent the company professionally during merchant-facing interactions
