About the Role

I am partnering with a leading luxury retail organisation to appoint an IT Business Partner & Operations Manager. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, this individual will act as the key technology representative for Singapore, overseeing day-to-day IT operations while serving as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.


This is a highly visible role that requires a strong communicator who can engage confidently with senior business leaders, store management teams, vendors, and technical teams.


The successful candidate will combine strong operational leadership with the ability to influence stakeholders, challenge constructively, and drive continuous improvement across the technology landscape.


The role will support multiple sites across Singapore, including retail stores and corporate offices, while partnering with regional teams where required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary IT Business Partner for business stakeholders across Singapore.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and provide guidance on technology-related initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Lead and oversee IT Operations, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient technology services across stores and corporate functions.
  • Manage Service Delivery teams across Singapore and offshore support teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service performance.
  • Oversee Infrastructure, Networks, End User Computing, Cyber Security, and Workplace Technology functions through internal teams and external vendors.
  • Serve as the key escalation point for technology-related issues and critical incidents.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, service levels, and overall performance.
  • Support new store openings, renovations, relocations, and expansion projects from a technology perspective.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements, service enhancements, and technology best practices.
  • Collaborate with regional and global technology teams to align local operations with broader business objectives.
  • Lead stakeholder communications, technology updates, presentations, and town hall discussions where required.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, and business continuity requirements.


Key Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience within IT Operations, Infrastructure, Service Delivery, or Technology Management roles.
  • Proven experience working within large multinational organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives, business leaders, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Solid understanding of IT Infrastructure, Networks, Cyber Security, Cloud Services, End User Computing, and Enterprise Technology environments.
  • Experience leading Service Delivery and Operational Support teams.
  • Strong vendor management and outsourcing experience.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Comfortable challenging ideas, providing recommendations, and influencing decision-making at senior levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience supporting multiple sites, retail stores, or distributed business environments is highly desirable.


Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate may have started their career in Infrastructure, Service Delivery, or Technical Operations before progressing into broader leadership and business partnering responsibilities. They will be comfortable operating across both technical and business environments, acting as the bridge between technology teams and business stakeholders.


Experience within luxury retail, retail, consumer goods, hospitality, or other customer-facing industries would be highly advantageous.
