Full Time Roblox Developer Jobs, in Omens Studios Petaling Jaya - Ricebowl

The Roblox Developer is passionate about creating and scaling Roblox experiences, and is responsible for implementing game functionality, building the game code, identifying bottlenecks, and maintaining engaging gameplay experiences on the Roblox platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain gameplay systems using Lua (Roblox Luau).
2. Build scalable systems such as progression, currencies, quests, and data saving.
3. Implement UI (ScreenGui), animations (TweenService), tools, and interactive mechanics.
4. Optimize game performance and ensure stability across devices.
5. Debug, test, and refactor code to maintain high quality standards.
6. Collaborate with designers and artists to bring features from concept to launch.
7. Contribute ideas to improve gameplay, retention, and monetization.

Requirements:

1. Strong experience with Roblox Studio and Lua (Luau).
2. Solid understanding of client/server architecture and live-service in Roblox.
3. Experience with DataStores, RemoteEvents, and RemoteFunctions.
4. Experience with monetization systems (gamepasses, developer products).
5. Experience with analytics, A/B testing, or player retention strategies.
6. Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
7. Familiarity with performance optimization and best practices.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
10. Have shipped Roblox games.
11. Passionate about and keep up to date with the latest Roblox developments.
