We are seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our team at Sumitomo Bakelite Singapore Pte Ltd(Malaysia branch office) which located at Petaling Jaya,Selangor. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our chemical engineering products and solutions. What you'll be doing

1. Account Management and Relationship Building:

   • Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term collaboration.

   • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for continual growth and business development.

2. Technical Expertise and Solutions Development:

   • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and applications to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

   • Offer technical advice and insights to help customers optimize the use of company products.

3. Sales and Proposal Management:

   • Respond promptly to sales inquiries, prepare quotations, and evaluate customer needs to generate proposals for assigned sales territories.

   • Provide accurate and timely sales reports to monitor progress and support decision-making.

4. Technical Issue Resolution:

   • Act as the liaison between customers and the company's manufacturing plants (e.g., in Japan/Singapore) to resolve technical issues efficiently.

   • Follow up on technical concerns to ensure timely resolution and foster trust with clients.

What we're looking for

1. Degree holder

2. Fresh graduates or 1-2 years working experience in the related industry are welcome to apply.

3. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.

4. Ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions through analytical thinking and problem-solving.

5. Proficiency in understanding technical details and converting them into customer-centric solutions.

6. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve sales targets and overall business objectives.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
