IKD Limited Hiring! Full Time Project Engineer in Johor - Ricebowl

Product Transfer Management: Lead and coordinate the end-to-end product transfer process from the parent/partner site in China to the local manufacturing facility.

Cross-Border Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the technical engineering teams in China and local cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain).

Trial & Pilot Production: Plan, schedule, and oversee trial production runs (pilot builds) to test manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment capabilities.

Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical anomalies, engineering issues, or component mismatches discovered during trial productions.

Project Timeline Tracking: Define project deliverables, milestones, and timelines. Provide regular progress reports and dashboards to local senior management.

Audit Readiness & Compliance: Ensure all transferred production lines, equipment, and processes conform to IATF 16949 standards. Actively prepare the engineering framework to support internal, third-party ISO, and stringent Customer Audits.

Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive industry highly preferred) or product transfers.

Audit Exposure: Direct experience working within an IATF 16949 certified environment. Experience facing or supporting Customer Audits from major manufacturing/automotive clients is a significant advantage.

Language Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin and English is highly preferred, as the role requires daily technical communication and documentation alignment with teams based in China.
